5 new marine parks in Calabria
The “Coast of the Cedars”, the “Bay of Soverato”, the “Coast of the Jasmins”, the “Rocks of Isca” and the depths of Head Vaticano - Vibo and Tropea: the Calabria has five new marine parks.
On the yesterday meeting (March 31 2008) the Regional Council of the Calabria has approved to the unanimity , the institutive proposals of law of these new zones tutelate.
The “Coast of the Cedars” spreads from Praia's to Sea to d Acquappesa, in the stroke of sea in which numerous cliffs are included and particularly the island of Cirella and of Dino and the rock of Regina.
The “Coast of the Jasmins” interests the stroke of littoral included between Head Bruzzano and Heads of Spropoli: these beaches represent the principal areas of reproduction of the caretta caretta.
The “Bay of Soverato” delimited by the mouths of two little torrents keeps kind animals gazed at the convention of Bern: the seahorse, the fish needle and the mollusc with the great shell.
Two Rocks of Isca to about 800 metres with the coast, survived remains of the ancient promontory of the gulf of Amantea, itself ergono to sentries of the passage of dolphins and stenelle, but in their waters models of adult caretta caretta swim indisturbate also.
Also the coast tirrenica southern, today it has his park: it spreads from Capocozzo, to Tropea and includes the depths of S. Irene, Vibo Marina, Calabrian Point and Head Vaticano.

Of what type of Areas does it look after itself? It would be important to know it because they have been great the discussion on the hundreds of marine areas “pseudo protected” that in fact close only for the underwater fishermen but not for boats, fishing with the nets, creeping, forbidden but us still in rowing, tourist and similar boats …
They are closed to the underwater fishing really because the one who does sub, draws or only a short walk, trouble to the fishermen (also of smuggling) and to the boats of the dad's children.
… before exulting there would be well is made sure what does not look after itself really of "false" marine areas.
