The program intelligent Energy — Europe foresees measures run particularly to:
- to encourage the energy efficiency and the rational use of the energy resources through the actions of SAVE
- to promote the new and renewable fountains of energy and to encourage the energy diversification through the actions of ALTENER
- to promote the energy efficiency and the use of new and renewable fountains of energy in the transport through the actions of STEER

The present invitation supports the next actions:
RATIONAL USE AND EFFICIENT ENERGY RESOURCES (SAVE)
- Actions proposals in matter “energy-efficient buildings”
- Actions proposals in matter industrial excellence in the energy field
NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY FOUNTAINS (ALTENER)
- Actions proposals in point of production of electricity with renewable fountains (RES - e)
- Actions proposals in point of renewable energy “heating/cooling (RES-H/C)”
- In matter it arranges actions proposals of for the renewable energy produced at home or in little staircase
- Actions proposals in point of biocarburante
ENERGY IN the TRANSPORT (STEER) activates that interest all the types of transport with exception of that aircraft and that maritime on the long distances
- Actions proposals in point of clean and alternative fuels for the vehicles
- Actions proposals in matter efficient energy in the transport
- Actions proposals in point of "capacity-building" in the transport run to the local and regional agencies

- Actions proposals in point of creation of local agencies for the energy and regional
- Actions proposals in matter nets for local actions
- Actions proposals in point of “bio-business“
- Actions proposals in matter “energy services”

The maximum percentage for the repayment of the admissible expenses is a 75 % for the projects and for the creation of new agencies, for these last up to a maximum for 250.000 Euro
