To do net in Europe thanks to Enterprise Europe Network
The small and medium-sized enterprises in search of a partner in another European country or of an advice on how to develop an innovative idea or how to present question for a community financing for the research can they count, on Enterprise Europe Network, thrown officially last February 7. The new net reunites about 500 organisations, between whose chambers of commerce, companies for the regional development and university centres of research, and 4000 expert professionals.
The responsible commissary for Enterprises and industry, Günter Verheugen, has explained: "The net offers a support of the Small and medium-sized enterprises, kind in the initial development phases, to encourage them to be more innovative and to reinforce their technological abilities”
it spreads beyond the borders of the UE to include also the Turkey, the ex-Jugoslavian Republic of Macedonia, the Norway, the Iceland, the Armenia, Israel and the Switzerland. Today, even if the national barriers have fallen, less than one small and medium-sized enterprises on ten venture outside of the own country; the net proposes to itself to encourage therefore the cooperation beyond the frontiers.
Concretely, Enterprise Europe Network offers the next services:
1. The enterprises assist in them to become international
- It is considered that borderers could be involved 1 million European small and medium-sized enterprises in the commerce and in the investments. Enterprise Europe Network will help to develop the exchanges between enterprises, to throw new ideas, to feed possible cooperations and to spur the enterprises to develop on further the horizons in which they have been born. Meetings between couples of enterprises will help when reliable partners individualise.
- To build technological cooperations between small and medium-sized enterprises based on the transfer of the innovation, is another way of “becoming international” and of generating it profits at the capital invested in research. The net assists the small and medium-sized enterprises to be individualised the partners and to be pressed it grants with them.
2. Innovation, new products and to pick the timeliness of the only market
- Support to the small and medium-sized enterprises in technical matters as rights of intellectual property, rules and legislation UE; it can be in fact difficult for the enterprises to remain at the step of the changes of the timeliness tied to the UE.
- To promote the innovation: Enterprise Europe Network encourages the small and medium-sized enterprises to become more innovative: to share research results can make taking new ideas / timeliness. Among other things, it will improve the collaboration with the cluster that hold together different activities tied to the innovation. To guarantee the access for the innovative technologies will help the small and medium-sized enterprises to face the global competition.
3. Access for projects and for financing of the UE
- The net Enterprise Europe Network aims at filling the deficits with knowledge on several fountains of financing that the UE puts to disposition and to make conscious the enterprises of the existing possibilities. Above all, the small and medium-sized enterprises are encouraged to participate in research programs.
4. To give check information to the Commission
- Enterprise Europe Network will connect in 2 senses the entrepreneurs and the Commission, broadcasting the points of view in both directions to do so that politics and initiatives prepared by the Commission are useful to the small and medium-sized enterprises and the administrative burdens do not increase.
New Enterprise Europe Network is part of the supplemented politics of the Commission to promote the entrepreneurial activity and the growth of the enterprises in Europe. He will support the small and medium-sized enterprises of any sector in order that they should draw advantages from the timeliness of the only market
